Job Details

Partner Account Manager (Channel Sales Manager) acquires new and grows existing value-added reseller (VAR) partners.

Responsibilities include:

  • Driving channel sales growth through sourcing, enabling, and managing VAR partnerships.
  • Developing go-to-market strategies for partner expansion.
  • Building and maintaining high-level partner relationships.
  • Articulating Nearmap's value proposition and driving adoption.
  • Developing and executing regional partner plans.
  • Resolving channel conflicts while maintaining partner-internal team alignment.
  • Collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams.
  • Building reseller partner business plans, including positioning and incentives.
  • Maintaining accurate data in Salesforce, including opportunity tracking and customer interactions.
  • Providing timely reporting and forecasting to sales management.
  • Expertise in partner segments, market trends, and competitive offerings.
  • Utilizing market intelligence to influence partner programs.
  • Fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Acting as a bridge between internal teams and external partners.
  • Building relationships with VP-level stakeholders (Partnerships & Sales).
  • Adhering to company guidelines and Code of Conduct.
  • Meeting minimum experience requirements (5+ years direct/channel sales).

Experience required includes:

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and driving partner growth.
  • Strategic solution selling and partner program development.
  • Experience working with VARs.
  • Familiarity with SaaS sales cycles.
  • Knowledge of geospatial solutions (a plus).
  • Commercial acumen and influence on C-suite executives.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and strategic thinking.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of sales enablement practices.
