The Chief Growth Officer will be measured on prime contract wins and task order awards across DoD, IC, and select FedCiv agencies. This is a builder’s role to strengthen our pipeline, lead our growth team, and position JCTM for competitive full-and-open wins.
The RoleYou will lead JCTM’s Growth Department (Capture Manager, Proposal Manager, BD Lead, Analyst, Research Specialist). You’ll own the entire growth system: pipeline discipline, capture/proposal execution, bid/no-bid decisions, agency expansion, and contracting vehicle strategy (IDIQs, GWACs, BPAs, OTAs).
You’ll personally lead roadshows and client engagements while coaching a Shipley-trained but still maturing team in prospecting, CRM discipline, and PTW execution. You’ll enforce Salesforce CRM as the system of record and deploy AI-driven tools to accelerate pricing and proposal development.
What You’ll Do- Drive sustainable GovCon growth with ≥3x pipeline coverage and ≥35–45% win rates.
- Own and manage pipeline health, scorecards, Rocks, and weekly L10 growth meetings under the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS).
- Lead business development and capture across Army, USMC/USN, Air Force/Space Force, MDA, IC elements, DHS, DOJ, VA, and select FedCiv agencies.
- Govern opportunity shaping, capture kits, Section L/M alignment, PTW, and proposal readiness.
- Build compliant partner networks through Mentor-Protégé JVs, primes, and MOUs.
- Lead, coach, and develop the growth team; model field-first client engagement.
- Documented prime past performance as capture lead/primary hunter in the last 24–36 months.
- Proof of recompete wins and expansion on existing IDIQ/BPA/TO portfolios.
- Proven record of scaling a GovCon company from ~$10M to ~$50M through disciplined capture, proposal leadership, prospecting, and client engagement.
- 10–15 years’ growth/capture success in small-to-mid-tier GovCon services.
- Recent wins: ≥3 prime awards (≥1 between $5M–$10M+; ≥2 between $1M–$5M).
- Proficiency with GovWin and Salesforce CRM; strong CRM enforcement discipline.
- Domain expertise in C5ISR, AI/analytics, PED, cybersecurity, or IT services.
- Comfortable with 40–60% travel; strong executive presence with DoD/IC clients.
