Client Director - Lead a team identifying and crafting business-issue solutions for commercial retail clients across an assigned portfolio.
Deliver value via NIQ's world-class merchandising analytics product solutions. Typical engagements include leading meetings, managing projects, and delivering insights through storytelling.
Bridge the language gap between clients, sales, client service, and technical aspects of NIQ's operation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a high-performing team creating integrated analyses supporting client strategic initiatives.
- Present analyses to senior clients with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Provide subject matter expertise on NIQ products and merchandising analytics to clients for strategic issues (Pricing, Promotion, Assortment, etc.).
- Maintain and build productive client relationships.
- Collaborate with NIQ Retail Analytics teams (Sales, Implementation, Operations) to improve tools and identify revenue opportunities.
- Manage renewals, upsells, and cross-sells for your client portfolio.
Experience Requirements:
- 8+ years in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), CPG Retail, or market research.
- 2+ years directly managing, mentoring, and leading associates.
- Strong analytic aptitude, applying analytics products to CPG/CPG Retail issues.
- Successfully manage projects from approach to insight delivery.
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for impactful client presentations.
- Ability to build/maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and senior leadership (VP level +).
- Skilled at influencing and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong sense of urgency and accountability for client outcomes.
Education:
- BA/BS required, Master's preferred.
Technical Skills (Preferred):
- Expert in base price optimization, promotional planning, markdown optimization, assortment optimization, supply-chain, demand forecasting, geospatial analytics, A/B testing, planogram analytics, personalization, customer loyalty analytics.
- Experience with SQL, Databricks, and Python.
- Intermediate proficiency in financial & contract management.
Compensation:
Market-competitive salary ($110,000 - $140,000).
