Commercial Associate, Rotational Program
This role helps the organization meet its revenue goals by working with strategy, commercial operations, marketing, and business development teams to understand and gain exposure to different areas of EVERSANA and develop a comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
The program is designed to give recent graduates maximum exposure to various stakeholders, projects, and the entire pharmaceutical/biotech industry. Commercial Associates will learn how different stakeholders in healthcare come together to develop life-altering solutions for patients.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- 12-month program with 4 rotations (3 months each) in Strategy, Commercial Operations, Business Development, and Marketing.
- Potential for permanent placement for successful Commercial Associates.
- Training phase (2 weeks): EVERSANA capabilities and processes (home study, followed by training in Yardley).
- Rotational activities:
- Strategy: Strategic planning, market analysis, revenue optimization, value proposition, competitive landscape, targeting tools.
- Commercial Operations: Pricing, budgeting, contracting, proposal development, RFP process, pipeline reporting.
- Business Development: Sales process, lead generation, understanding client needs, account management, business planning (large/small Pharma).
- Marketing: Brand building, brand management, creative content, public relations, media planning.
- Capstone Project presentation at the end of the program.
- Assist successful Commercial Associates in placement.
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Expectations: Travel (10-15%), 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree (Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or Life Sciences).
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to understand complex information.
- Multitasking and collaborative skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Preferred Qualifications: Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, initiative, strong communication skills, and principled character.
Physical/Mental Demands: Office/home office, frequent reaching, grasping, standing/sitting, walking, talking, hearing; occasional lifting/moving (up to 25 lbs).
Additional Information: Hourly rate $29/hour, benefits eligible.
