Brand new role created, Head of / Commercial Director Level, this role will target all of Omio's non-core markets. Would suit an ex-management Consultant or Banking profile. This global role is ideal for a highly driven individual with a strong commercial mindset and the flexibility to travel frequently.
Help with Omio’s Global Expansion: Drive Impact, Close Deals, and empower global travellers.
We are seeking a bold, strategic, and entrepreneurial Global Business Expansion Leader to define and execute Omio’s next chapter of growth. In this high-impact role, you will spearhead our global inventory expansion, focusing on non-core and emerging markets to unlock new revenue streams and accelerate international sales.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set the Vision & Strategy: Design and lead a comprehensive global expansion roadmap.
  • Own Commercial Growth: Build and lead a high-performing regional sales and business development team.
  • Be the Face of Omio: Growing new relationships at senior levels across our targeted industries globally.
  • Negotiate Like a Pro: Drive complex, high-value commercial partnerships.
  • Collaborate to Win: Partner cross-functionally with senior leaders.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of business and commercial/finance or consulting background
  • 5+ years of experience leading a sales team
  • Experience in a fast-growth startup environment
  • Passion and experience in developing successful teams
  • Success record in complex commercial negotiations
  • Success record of regional and product launches
  • Proven ability to work and drive cross-functional deliverables
  • An innovative mindset
  • Fluent in English; another language a plus!
