Montu's Corporate Communications Manager will support Corporate Affairs, Medical Affairs, and Government Relations teams. This role is part of the communications team responsible for proactive communication initiatives to drive Corporate Affairs & Patient Advocacy strategy across external channels. Ideal for a talented communicator in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment with health sector experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute external communication strategies aligned with Montu's Corporate Affairs objectives.
- Develop content across various formats (media releases, op-eds, speeches, Q&As, briefing notes, talking points, social media content, and stakeholder communications).
- Collaborate closely with Government Relations and Medical Affairs to ensure consistent messaging.
- Develop and share ideas to build Montu's profile amongst stakeholders (healthcare, government, patient associations, NFPs).
- Support media engagements (developing assets, preparing spokespeople, managing opportunities).
- Ensure strategic alignment of communication initiatives with broader organizational objectives.
- Monitor media, stakeholder, and industry trends to identify reputational opportunities and risks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts and key opinion leaders.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in communications, media, or corporate affairs.
- Experience in healthcare, digital health, telehealth, pharmaceuticals, or highly regulated industries is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to create compelling content for various channels.
- Understanding of the Australian media landscape and public affairs environment.
- Experience working in regulated environments and knowledge of health sector compliance.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Confidence in working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or related discipline.
