Job Summary:
The Senior Customs Clearance Specialist (Vehicles) manages customs documentation and ensures compliance with import and export laws, focusing on vehicle shipments. Responsible for reviewing and processing documents, determining duties and taxes, processing payments, and communicating with stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviews and prepares customs documentation.
- Handles inquiries via phone, email, or Slack.
- Completes files accurately and timely.
- Writes detailed notes.
- Maintains client database.
- Understands vehicle regulations (RIV, ECCC, Transport Canada).
- Knowledgeable about ITNs.
- Prioritizes and meets deadlines.
- Manages and resolves challenging situations.
- Processes B3/CAD entries.
- Corrects rejected entries.
- Assigns HS tariff classifications.
- Supports sales team.
- Completes exams or attends conferences.
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years in customs brokerage with vehicle processing experience. Diploma or degree in related field. CargoWise and CANdata experience is an asset. CCS or LCB designation is a plus.

Working Conditions:
