Demand Planner plays a pivotal role in optimising supply chain operations.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams, coordinates demand planning cycles, identifies and mitigates risks, and ensures efficient product production and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demand Planning: Uses Netstock for monthly demand planning, collaborates with marketing/category teams for promotional plans. Develops and implements demand planning strategies, including supply-feedback for accurate forecasting and inventory optimization.
- Identifies and assesses risks related to future demand fluctuations across product lines (bulk & finished goods).
- Manages accurate stock allocation and forecasting across warehouses, reducing inbound transportation complexity.
- Ensures out-of-stock situations are considered and addressed.
- Maintains communication with key stakeholders.
- Uses Netstock for reporting, providing demand forecasts and potential risks to stakeholders.
S&OP Planning: Collaborates with marketing team on promotional plans for demand forecast planning, provides input on volume-related forecasts. Contributes to identifying and addressing stock gaps.
Drives Efficiencies: Partners with warehouse, pharmacy, and procurement teams to improve efficiency. Aims for pharmacy satisfaction, reduced costs, and out-of-stock rates. Ensures optimal stock levels across locations.
Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Meets individual and departmental OKRs/KPIs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in demand planning.
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
- Advanced Netstock knowledge and experience.
- High-value inventory experience in a regulated environment.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Demand planning, forecasting, inventory management proficiency (FMCG/medical/pharmaceutical preferred).
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficient in multiple systems for reporting/analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, focus on accuracy.
- Resilience, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with good time management.
