Job Description:
You will work with clients to run their demand planning function.
Our focus is on technology-enabled business transformation, and we partner with some of the most advanced planning systems providers.
You will impact business result by implementing effective product/production planning and forecasting process.
Responsibilities
- Manage the demand planning process with key experience working key stakeholders to create and manage Demand Forecasts for supply planning, procurement, and distribution.
- Identify key demand risks to support Sales and Operations Planning, incorporating that into business contingency planning while maintaining strategic inventory values.
- Define order volumes based on adjusted aggregated demand, capacity, and constraints.
- Create long-term demand forecasts, considering market conditions; and share that forecast information with other parts of the organization.
- Measurement and reporting of trends to assist in identifying opportunities for increased forecast accuracy and process improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in addition to effective decision-making capability.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to generate actionable insights from large qualitative and quantitative data.
- Ability to collaborate with Customer, planning and purchasing to identify optimal opportunities that affect the business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, applied math or other relevant degree.
- Strong understand of at least advanced planning systems and its functionality, e.g., Kinaxis, o9 Solutions.
- Knowledge of ERP functionality, experience with SAP / Oracle / JDE an asset.
- Demonstrated experience in materials or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Exceptional drive, excellent interpersonal skills, and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to immediately contribute in a collaborative team environment.
- An ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of client focus
- Strong work ethic and high attention to detail, with a desire to learn.
This is a remote, work from home position.
Travel tends to fluctuate depending on client needs but typically very limited.
