The Visa Commerical Solutions (VCS) team is experiencing double-digit growth. The B2B Acceptance Strategic Merchant team expands Commercial Acceptance with B2B Merchants.
Director responsibilities include:
- Gaining access to B2B merchants, identifying and quantifying opportunities.
- Developing and executing strategies to move opportunities forward.
- Managing a pipeline, and being a SME resource for internal and external partners.
- Managing a portfolio of top commercial merchants (5-10B in payment volume).
- Developing, expanding, and deepening relationships with executives.
- Overseeing clients with a consultative approach to understand card acceptance processes and challenges.
- Contributing to the B2B Acceptance team and VCS organization.
- Identifying B2B expansion opportunities/agreements.
- Expanding B2B commercial volume through Acquisition/Expansion, Partnership, or Relationship management.
- Ensuring merchants/suppliers optimize their acceptance environment.
- Developing acceptance deals positioning Visa as a preferred payment method.
- Driving deep analytics and deal-modeling.
- Partnering with regional Account Executives and Business Development Associates.
Travel: 10-20% of time. Hybrid Position: 2-3 days per week in the office.
Basic Qualifications: 10+ years experience with Bachelor's, or 8+ years with Advanced Degree, or 3+ years with PhD.
Preferred Qualifications: 12+ years experience with Bachelor's, or 8-10 years with Advanced Degree, or 6+ years with PhD, 6+ years in B2B Merchant Sales/Acquisition/Client Management.
Skills and Experience: Relationship management, commercial payments, strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills, client management, communication.
Work Hours: Varies based on department needs. Travel: 5-10% of time.
Salary: $152,200.00 - $220,850.00 per year (may include sales incentives).
