About the RoleThis is a Director level individual contributor role. You'll work closely with the Business Unit and regional sales team to:
- Identify and nurture new business opportunities and customers, driving revenue growth.
- Implement effective enterprise sales strategies to expand the customer base and empower the sales team.
- Develop a deep understanding of market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Customer Support.
- Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Represent the company at industry events.
- Drive the adoption of next-generation storage solutions, educating customers on benefits and roadmap innovations.
- Contribute to marketing and sales enablement materials.
- Leverage data-driven insights to refine strategies.
- Track and report on pipeline and design win growth metrics.
Extensive Industry Experience: Minimum 10 years in business development/sales, preferably in data storage or related fields.
Technical Expertise: Strong technical skills to develop tailored proposals.
Organizational Excellence: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet goals.
Communication Proficiency: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Adaptability and Collaboration: Collaborative mindset to excel in dynamic environments.
Storage Networking Knowledge: Familiarity with storage networking topologies is a plus.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Ability to work effectively across teams.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, MBA preferred.
Preferred Experience: Experience with ODMs/OEMs in data storage.
35% Travel: Primarily within EMEA, some travel to the US (Colorado Springs and San Jose).
