Job Details
Cloud Engagement Lead (CEL) is a global role focused on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This position leads business development and co-sell strategy for GCP engagement, encompassing global programs and alliances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop annual strategic plan and performance goals for assigned Cloud Provider.
- Build and lead global campaigns around key sales plays and rollout initiatives, working with regional teams to maximize pipeline, new leads, and revenue with Google Cloud support.
- Engage and maintain partner relationships with key stakeholders.
- Support the field, manage joint sales, private offers, and co-sell opportunities with GCP.
- Monitor opportunities, pipeline activity, and bookings, delivering accurate forecasts and funnel management reports.
- Assist with content for Public Cloud training curriculum and sales enablement.
- Coordinate activities with the Public Cloud virtual team (Business Development, Marketing, Product Management, Channels, and Sales).
- Provide support and coordination for channel activity with GCP.
- Escalate pre-sales and post-sales issues for Public Cloud provider activity.
- Build and maintain relationships with key GCP personnel and partners.
Experience Requirements:
- 10+ years' experience in Sales Leadership (Account or Partner Management).
- 5+ years' experience in worldwide and Channel Program experience (preferred).
- GCP engagement experience.
- Experience managing campaigns and sales plays with partners.
- Security product market knowledge and Palo Alto awareness.
- Ability to work in a virtual and matrix environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple disciplines and tasks in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
