The Role: The Director of Commercial Planning drives commercial strategy & planning. This role collaborates with executive leadership, sales, marketing, finance, and operations to achieve business objectives. It also plays a critical role in revenue management (pricing, assortment, promotions).
Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial planning process (annual plans, strategic roadmaps).
- Develop revenue forecasts & track performance.
- Monitor market trends and competition.
- Optimize brand pricing, product assortment, and promotions.
- Collaborate with sales & marketing for alignment.
- Develop sales enablement tools and materials.
- Collaborate across departments for integrated strategies.
- Oversee commercial budget and resource allocation.
- Monitor P&L performance and identify cost savings.
- Develop KPIs and report performance to leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement through analysis.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years commercial planning/sales strategy experience with leadership.
- 3+ years experience with syndicated data platforms (SPINS, Nielsen).
- 2+ years people leadership experience.
- Proven experience in developing & executing strategic plans.
- Strong analytical & financial skills.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Google Suite & Microsoft Suite.
Compensation: $140,000-$150,000 base salary + bonus
