The Role: The Director of Commercial Planning drives commercial strategy & planning. This role collaborates with executive leadership, sales, marketing, finance, and operations to achieve business objectives. It also plays a critical role in revenue management (pricing, assortment, promotions).

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead commercial planning process (annual plans, strategic roadmaps).
  2. Develop revenue forecasts & track performance.
  3. Monitor market trends and competition.
  4. Optimize brand pricing, product assortment, and promotions.
  5. Collaborate with sales & marketing for alignment.
  6. Develop sales enablement tools and materials.
  7. Collaborate across departments for integrated strategies.
  8. Oversee commercial budget and resource allocation.
  9. Monitor P&L performance and identify cost savings.
  10. Develop KPIs and report performance to leadership.
  11. Drive continuous improvement through analysis.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years commercial planning/sales strategy experience with leadership.
  • 3+ years experience with syndicated data platforms (SPINS, Nielsen).
  • 2+ years people leadership experience.
  • Proven experience in developing & executing strategic plans.
  • Strong analytical & financial skills.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Google Suite & Microsoft Suite.

Compensation: $140,000-$150,000 base salary + bonus
