Full-Time Director of Distribution

Director of Distribution - Lead all aspects of distribution strategy and execution through our 3PL partner. Ensure seamless order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day relationship with 3PL, holding accountable to SLAs and KPIs.
• Oversee fulfillment across eCommerce/DTC, B2B/wholesale, and future channels.
• Conduct business reviews and scorecarding with 3PL, identify efficiency improvements.
• Support new product launches, seasonal peaks, and promotional campaigns.
• Oversee returns processing, ensuring timely restocking and communication.
• Own outbound shipping strategy, ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Manage carrier relationships (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
• Define and optimize shipping methods, service levels, and routing logic.
• Monitor carrier performance metrics and resolve escalated shipping issues.
• Collaborate with planning & channel heads to forecast volume and adjust strategies.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance.
• Ensure high inventory accuracy within 3PL facility and systems.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, fulfillment rates, and order flow.
• Identify opportunities to automate shipping processes.
• Lead contract negotiations and rate reviews for 3PL and carriers.
• Lead cost-saving initiatives in fulfillment operations.
• Align logistics operations with brand and customer experience standards.
• Stay current on industry trends in shipping.

Requirements:

• 8+ years logistics/supply chain experience
• 3+ years managing outbound shipping/3PL relationships
• Experience with parcel/freight shipping, rate negotiation
• Familiarity with ERP and WMS (NetSuite preferred)
• Proven cost-efficiency and delivery speed improvements
• Strong data-analysis, problem-solving, communication, and vendor management skills
• Bachelor’s degree

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base salary: $120,000 - $130,000 + bonus
