Lead all aspects of distribution strategy and execution through a 3PL partner, ensuring seamless order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Key liaison between internal teams and 3PL, managing relationships, KPIs, and continuous improvement.
Oversee fulfillment operations, focusing on e-commerce/DTC, new product launches, seasonal peaks, and promotional campaigns.
Manage returns processing, ensuring timely restocking and communication with Customer Experience and Inventory teams.
Own outbound shipping strategy, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery to consumers.
Manage relationships with carriers (FedEx, UPS, etc.).
Define and optimize shipping methods to improve speed and cost efficiency.
Monitor carrier performance, resolve escalated issues (lost packages, delays).
Collaborate with planning and channel heads to forecast volume and adjust strategies.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance for all outbound shipments.
Maintain high inventory accuracy within 3PL facility and integrated systems (ERP, WMS, OMS).
Monitor inventory accuracy, fulfillment rates, and order flow to ensure seamless execution.
Identify opportunities to automate or streamline processes.
Lead contract negotiations with 3PL and carriers for competitive pricing and service level alignment.
Lead cost-saving initiatives in outbound freight and fulfillment.
Align logistics operations with brand and customer experience standards.
Stay current with industry trends in shipping technology, carrier services, and customer expectations.
