Job Details

We are seeking a visionary Director of Sales and Marketing to join our dynamic team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

This pivotal role will spearhead our sales and marketing strategies, driving revenue growth and elevating our brand in the competitive hospitality landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue goals and increase market share
  2. Lead and inspire a high-performing sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
  3. Oversee the creation and execution of the Annual Multi-Year Commercial Strategy Plan in collaboration with key stakeholders
  4. Manage all revenue streams (Rooms, Catering, and Food & Beverage), ensuring optimal business mix and pricing strategies
  5. Collaborate with e-Commerce teams to establish and enhance B2B marketing, digital marketing, social media, and public relations channels
  6. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform strategic decision-making
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers
  8. Oversee the departmental budget, forecasting, and financial performance
  9. Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and risk agreement practices in group, transient, and events bookings
  10. Drive the implementation and success of sales incentive programmes
  11. Collaborate with global sales teams and brand representatives to align with corporate objectives

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 18 years' experience in hotel sales, catering, digital marketing, revenue management (preferably in a 5-star upscale and luxury full-service hotel in Vietnam and internationally)
  • Proven track record in a director-level management role within the hospitality industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree is advantageous
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, revenue management, and market analysis
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing strategies and e-commerce platforms
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to travel on short notice and adapt to changing schedules
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese or other European languages is beneficial
