As the Director of Sales Training and Enablement, you'll oversee the development and execution of comprehensive sales training programs, enhancing sales team skills and performance. This role demands strong project management, sales process understanding, and proficiency in training methodologies and enablement practices.
Responsibilities:
- Training Program Management: Plan, develop, and facilitate sales training, and provide post-training support.
- Program Execution: Determine training methodologies, prepare materials, develop content, and communicate with stakeholders, management, and trainees.
- Seller Assessment: Develop competency frameworks to identify improvement areas and training needs.
- LMS Oversight: Oversee learning management systems for digital employee training.
- Program Evaluation: Evaluate training effectiveness using KPIs and stakeholder feedback.
- Ongoing Education: Develop training plans to keep employees updated on products and competitive knowledge.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, solutions, sales, and other relevant teams.
- Sales Strategy Alignment: Ensure alignment between sales training and employee implementation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Continuously collaborate to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Team Management: Manage team members to complete projects and assignments.
Proven Experience: 10-15+ years in sales training or related fields.
Sales Expertise: Deep knowledge of sales processes, techniques, and best practices.
Enablement Expertise: Deep knowledge of enablement programs and initiatives.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Presentation Skills: Strong ability to deliver effective presentations.
Analytical Skills: Analyze training needs and measure training effectiveness.
Adaptability: Adapt training methods to different learning styles and environments.
Technology Proficiency: Proficient in training software and tools.
Leadership: Demonstrate leadership and motivate others.
Project Management: Exceptional project planning and management skills.
Facilitation: Design and deliver engaging workshops and training sessions, adapting to diverse perspectives.
Support Onboarding: Facilitate the sales onboarding process.
Independence: Work independently and confidently in a complex environment.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (preferred).

Salary Range: $126,500 - $180,000. Incentives and bonuses possible.
