Full-Time Director of Technical Marketing

INFICON is seeking a Director of Technical Marketing to lead global industrial engineering focused Semi Smart Manufacturing Marketing efforts. This individual will support and accelerate INFICON's growth in this market.

Responsibilities:

1. Define product strategy, roadmap, feature prioritization aligned with customer needs and company objectives.
2. Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and design to ensure product specifications align with market requirements.
3. Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback sessions to inform roadmap and product development.
4. Manage product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond, ensuring alignment with business goals.
5. Develop and refine product messaging and positioning based on knowledge of smart manufacturing, semiconductor processes, competitive landscape, and customer requirements.
6. Develop and communicate compelling product value propositions and technical differentiators.
7. Create technical content (white papers, case studies, presentations, webinars) to support sales efforts.
8. Partner with sales team to deliver training and support.
9. Provide pre-sales technical support, including presentations and product demonstrations.
10. Lead development of product demos and technical materials for tradeshows and customer engagements.
11. Serve as the voice of the customer across teams, ensuring needs are represented.
12. Collaborate with corporate marketing to execute campaigns.
13. Work with support teams to address customer inquiries and integrate feedback.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in technical marketing or related field, proven track record in leading marketing teams.
• Deep understanding of technology trends and market dynamics in the B2B tech industry.
• Advanced technical knowledge in Semi Industrial Engineering and Smart Manufacturing.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and ability to develop comprehensive marketing plans.
• Strong skills in product positioning, messaging, and digital marketing strategies.
• Proficiency in data analysis, market research, and deriving actionable insights.
• Excellent project management abilities with a track record of delivering results.
• Outstanding communication and public presentation skills, ability to explain complex technical concepts.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and mentoring high-performing teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
