About the RoleDirector of Product Design at Tebra is a strategic leadership role helping to inform the future clinical workflow experience within our Care Delivery team. We are seeking individuals passionate about developing and growing others, fostering design excellence, and driving high-functioning cross-functional teams.
Your Area of Focus Oversees UX strategy and experience for the entire product suite supporting clinical workflows. Plays a key role in developing the future clinical vision and transformation, potentially including some individual contributor work.
Key Responsibilities
- Partners with product and engineering to develop insights-driven, customer-focused solutions.
- Participates in leadership activities of the larger Product Development team.
- Influences the product design and research team's culture and processes.
- Collaborates with other design leadership to ensure a holistic customer experience.
- Builds strong relationships with product and engineering peers.
- Collaborates on strategy, roadmap planning, and cross-functional alignment throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Guides teams through project scoping and ensures satisfactory delivery of commitments.
- Maintains quality standards within the organization.
- Develops a holistic understanding of organizational context and LOB-level strategy.
- Supports goal-setting and professional development for direct reports (up to 8 direct reports).
- Manages the recruitment and hiring of product design talent.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional design and management experience, leading teams (5-10+ people mix of ICs and managers).
- Experience in headcount planning, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring.
- Strong communication skills, including articulating design rationale, decision-making, and compelling storytelling.
- Collaborative approach and strategic contribution to high-impact initiatives.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing operational practices for team motivation, efficiency, and professional development.
- Proficiency with Figma and experience driving design system iteration.
- Portfolio showcasing ability to design and execute high-quality, customer-focused user experiences within complex workflows.
- Familiarity with Lean UX and Agile methodologies (preferred).
