About the Role
The Director of Sales Enablement will own a comprehensive end-to-end learning and development program for Sales and Account Management training, including instructional design and development.
Focuses on mapping enablement initiatives, leading a team, and creating scalable training programs to improve productivity and ramp up new hires.
Must understand business needs, work with Executive teams and Boards, and translate stakeholder needs into a world-class learning program.
Your Area of Focus
- Develop expertise in product, value proposition, industry and best practices.
- Prioritize learning initiatives to drive results.
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership and Executive team for strategic initiatives.
- Lead design, communication, and adoption of a structured sales methodology.
- Own overall sales enablement strategy and develop curriculum for current and future needs.
- Partner with Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and other teams to create effective programs.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing for compelling sales messaging.
- Champion adoption of new tools, processes and strategies.
- Lead change management initiatives.
- Mentor and develop sales enablement professionals.
- Develop key performance metrics and dashboards.
- Analyze data to provide actionable insights.
Your Professional Qualifications
- BA/BS degree with 7-10 years of relevant experience in Sales Enablement or Learning & Development.
- Proven leadership experience in building and managing enablement teams.
- Expertise in adult learning principles and current L&D trends, particularly in B2B SaaS and high-growth environments.
- Strong knowledge of sales methodologies, training, and enablement tools.
- Ability to define and manage various curriculum and delivery methods (self-directed, online, blended, in-person).
- Exceptional relationship-building and collaboration skills for cross-departmental projects.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
