MasterBrand is seeking a dynamic leader for the Director, Sales Home Center position in the Commercial Home Center channel.
Role Summary: This role is essential for creating and implementing strategies to increase profitable growth, market share, and value by aligning MasterBrand products with specific customer segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead MasterBrand's engagement with select Home Center accounts to achieve annual sales goals, fostering accountability and growth.
- Develop and execute multi-year sales strategies for the Home Center channel, incorporating strategic account management principles.
- Develop and execute policies and programs for retail sales operations, including daily management and sales pipeline activities.
- Guarantee the achievement of revenue and profit goals by leading the development and implementation of retail sales plans.
- Cultivate relationships and practices to give the account team a competitive advantage through innovative solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency of current programs and services.
- Integrate national account and channel objectives into a cohesive sales plan.
- Lead, develop, and activate executive and senior-level relationships with key National Account Merchants and MasterBrand partners.
- Strategically manage resources to capitalize on program and channel development opportunities, ensuring long-term growth and profitability.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, finance, supply chain, operations, digital/technology, and field sales) to align priorities and execute key initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- 6-10+ years of relevant experience, including leadership roles at the national level in sales or channel strategy.
- Proven success negotiating with senior executives at major Home Centers.
- Strong business acumen with a general manager mindset and a demonstrated history of setting and executing strategic plans.
- Financial expertise to analyze and drive long-term, sustainable outcomes.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage diverse stakeholders internally and externally.
- Proven ability to expand sales and market share through innovation, team building, and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
- High integrity, courage, pragmatic approach to problem-solving, and decision-making.
Remote Role with flexibility in location, proximity to airport for regular travel (~50% of the time).
