As a District Sales Manager, lead a team of experienced sellers, crafting and executing a strategy for maximized business growth.
Develop and manage your team to drive transformational deals, accelerate growth, and exceed goals.
Proven sales leader with a passion for winning, innovative thinking, and elevating team performance and C-suite relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deeply understand customer needs through research.
- Actively participate and lead customer meetings, providing robust support to your team.
- Analyze weekly territory pipeline and forecasting to coach direct reports on closure strategies.
- Proactively plan and develop territories, build C-suite relationships, and drive revenue by assisting your team in closing deals.
- Cultivate a high-performance sales culture, delivering outstanding results in bookings, sales development, and forecast accuracy; mentor and develop your team for sustained success.
- Possess strong technical knowledge of the portfolio to solve customer problems holistically.
- Drive and oversee team selling opportunities, ensuring a collaborative approach.
- Hold team and self accountable for goals, maintaining a forward-thinking approach.
- Effectively communicate with all levels, including C-suite, to establish open relationships.
- Influence others through adept change management practices.
- Develop a winning team through strategic recruitment, hiring, and training.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships.
Experience Requirements:
- Proven leadership skills in building high-performing teams in fast-paced sales environments.
- Expertise in SaaS-based architectures and cloud technology, ideally within networking or security.
- Expertise in the German public sector, particularly in state & local government.
- 2+ years managing a high-performing DQC Team.
- Indirect and direct sales strategy expertise.
- Consistent year-over-year success in sales pipeline management and target achievement.
- High motivation, focus on execution, urgency, and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong influencing and communication skills to build consensus.
- Teamwork-focused approach for strong relationships and collaboration.
- Experience in developing and executing sales initiatives.
- Ability to build and manage strategic partnerships.
- Fluency in German and English (written and verbal).
