Job Details
Mission: Reporting to the Global Ruminant Technical Manager, the Europe Ruminant technical manager supports the development of Phileo products sales in the European region. He/She provides technical species support to local sales and technical teams through training, joint visits, and implementation of conviction trials and monitoring of technical projects. He/she also participates in the development of new solutions and services, in close collaboration with members of the Ruminant technical team and the R&D department.
Responsibilities:
- Provides internal and external technical support on Phileo solutions for Ruminants
- Contributes to the implementation of the Ruminant strategy in Europe in coordination with local sale teams and Ruminant specialists.
- Contributes to key account management and manages and develops a network of key opinion leaders
- Participates in field evaluations of products, projects, and services related to Ruminants
- Participates in building global innovation programs considering market data, technical evidence established through field trials, and collected scientific data.
- Supports the R&D team in implementing and monitoring R&D trials that meet regional market needs.
- International travel requiring at least 50% of the time.
Requirements:
- Master Degree in Animal nutrition or DVM or Phd
- More than 10 years of experience in Ruminant nutrition
- Solid practical knowledge of ruminant nutrition and production systems in Europe
- Excellent analytical skills as well as a "customer-centric" mindset
- The position requires the ability to influence through indirect leadership, to be a strong and diplomatic communicator, adaptable, open-minded, and creative
- English is essential; any other language is a plus
