Field Service Technician
Traveling role covering most of the United States. Weekly travel with potential overnight stays. Flights Monday morning to multiple locations and potential return Friday. Must live near airport.

Essential Duties:
- Install, commission, maintain, and repair industrial/commercial water treatment equipment (RO systems, softeners, media filters)
- Troubleshoot equipment and system controls
- Inspect and maintain equipment (pumps, mixers, valves, instrumentation)
- Perform system checks and identify data issues
- Perform CIP of water treatment equipment (RO, NF, UF)
- Perform basic lab testing using HACH kits and equipment
- Work with other technicians in the field
- Provide parts quotes to customers
- Work with Field Engineers
- Maintain work tools
- Provide on-the-job training to customer personnel
- Develop/maintain relationships with clients
- Comply with safety and housekeeping regulations
- Complete Field Service Reports using tablet PC
- 20-50% overnight travel possible
- Weekend work may be required
- Submit reports on time
- Utilize mobility tools as required
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Decision Making:
Assignments based on results, deadlines, procedures. Independent action and judgment required. Unusual cases/matters escalated.
Innovation/Planning:
Standard procedures available for problem-solving.
Communication/Teamwork:
Participate in meetings; communicate directly with Project Managers and clients (in person and email).
Working Conditions:
- Manufacturing environments
- Potential exposure to burns, chemicals, machinery, dirt/dust, electrical hazards, grease/oil, loud noises, vibrations, steam/moisture, other hazards
- Lift/carry up to 75 lbs
- Climb ladders, work in confined spaces
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Specialized technical training in industrial water systems
- Proficient with MS Office or Google Suite
- Basic water processing equipment knowledge
- Basic water chemistry knowledge
- Familiarity with PLC controlled systems
- Calibration/maintenance experience with online instrumentation (Sodium Analyzers, TOC Analyzers, pH, Conductivity)
- Experience in pipe fitting, electrical troubleshooting, mechanical systems, and water system processing equipment
- 2-5 years’ experience in industrial/commercial maintenance
- 5-7 years of related experience preferred
