Full-Time Foreign-Trade-Zone Specialist

Where You'll Be Working: This is a remote position. The only requirement is that the candidate must reside in the United States or a U.S. territory.

What You Will Be Doing:

1. Administering foreign-trade zones: Conducting daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly processes to administer a compliant and efficient Foreign-Trade Zone, including:
• Preparing and filing daily FTZ admissions (e-214).
• Preparing weekly estimates and entries to CBP (3461 & 7501).
• Ensuring submission and review of all weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual FTZ forms and reports for accuracy.
• Maintaining proper record keeping for FTZ management.
• Operating the FTZ inventory control and recordkeeping system.
• Interacting with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) if necessary.
• Updating and reporting to direct management on FTZ activities.
• Processing and verifying FTZ-related data.
• Validating FTZ data against documentation to ensure accuracy.
• Providing compliance services related to ongoing Foreign-Trade Zone activities for customers.

2. Onboarding new customer implementation projects: Working directly with customer compliance and technical teams to facilitate training needs; collaborating with the customer's FTZ consultant, QAD's project managers, and technical engineers to support the implementation process.
