Full-Time Franchise Business Consultant

Franchise Business Consultant position is home-based with travel in or around Carbondale, IL. Supports a district of franchised restaurants, providing guidance and coaching to franchisees and operations teams to achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Planning and executing the Worldwide Operation's Business Plan.
• Developing and implementing a district-wide business plan.
• Providing counsel and assistance to franchise owners.
• Consulting on marketing performance, shift management, food safety, quality, service, cleanliness, and atmosphere.
• Advising franchisees on optimal financial health and development strategies.
• Providing support to other departments as needed.
• Assisting with new store openings.
• Completing ad-hoc projects.

Job Requirements:

• Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
• ServSafe certification.
• Frequent communication via telephone and email.
• Overnight travel for meetings/visits (average 2 weeks/month).
• Ability to drive and be insured.
• Ability to travel by airplane.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• No food/beverage allergies.
• Clean driving record.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, restaurant management, or related field, or equivalent experience. 4+ years of restaurant management (multi-unit/high volume preferred) and/or franchise operations management.

Skills: Thorough knowledge of the restaurant industry, restaurant operations, marketing, finance, training, human resources, and development. Strong communication, customer service, and relationship building skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $92,800 - $113,680 (US national base) - plus bonus, and benefits.
