Job Summary: As a General Manager (GM) for the Caribbean Region, you'll play a key Executive Leadership role responsible for the successful operation of all Services functions across 10 countries. You'll provide strategic leadership on positioning, commercial strategy, and customer service. You'll collaborate with Commercial leadership, Engineering, and Sales teams to grow the Services portfolio across all product families. Your business operations experience is critical for oversight, leadership, and ensuring operating plan targets are met safely and compliantly.
Key Objectives:
- Lead a culture of safety across the region.
- Turn strategy into action through team alignment, clear goals, and project management discipline.
- Lead and operationalize ongoing projects in the Bahamas and Jamaica.
- Partner with executive leadership to set strategic direction for the region, focusing on operations & maintenance and modular projects in desalination and industrial water.
Responsibilities:
- Lead operations of Services business in the Region.
- Oversee Revenue, Cost, Operating Profit, Sales, and Backlog.
- Profit & Loss responsibility.
- Target achievement accountability.
- Operational fulfillment.
- Coach local sales and operations teams, driving training and talent pipeline development.
- Coaching and mentoring staff, including senior leaders.
- Lead business roll-up processes for Services in the region.
- Drive EHS, Quality, Compliance, and integrity.
- Develop and drive regional business strategies.
- Lead process improvement, restructuring, and business transformation.
- Develop country and market penetration strategies.
- Foster strategic partnerships with internal teams and customers.
- Oversee all regional operations, including resource management and project fulfillment.
- Develop and maintain a skilled workforce through training and career advancement.
- Monitor and improve key operational metrics (EHS, quality, utilization, continuous improvement).
- Manage plant and fleet assets, maintenance, and reliability.
- Lead regional expansion and restructuring initiatives.
- Collaborate with global and shared services teams.
- Participate in executive-level strategy and business planning.
Requirements:
- University degree in Business or Technical subject.
- 5+ years’ experience in water treatment, utilities, or similar B2B service solutions.
- 7+ years of proven leadership experience.
- Experience and knowledge of water treatment systems and equipment.
- Experience in Desalination business, contracts, operations, and markets.
- Ability to travel (more than 25% of the time).
