Full-Time Global Category Leader - Flow

Global Category Leader - Flow In this REMOTE role, you must be based in EUROPE.

Purpose of the role: The Global Category leader- Flow will report into Global Category Management Team Leader. You will have circa an ~$80M spend portfolio and will be responsible for developing, validating, and implementing the global Procurement strategy for sub-categories within the portfolio.

Day-to-day duties:

• Define a Global Category Strategy for assigned Categories that drives continuous improvement within the Category and benefits to the business
• Develop/Manage Preferred Supplier Network and Strategic Suppliers
• Define Contracting Strategy and lead Supplier Negotiations
• Drive Cash Improvements across assigned Categories
• Mitigate Risks to the business by driving a comprehensive strategy that builds a flexible supply chain and ensures continuity of supply
• Develop Best Cost Country strategy
• Drive supplier relationship management processes
• Report to Leadership on Market Trends and Category Performance

General understanding:

• Direct material categories and water treatment technologies (products and operations)
• Market trends and key suppliers in the relevant Categories
• Supply base for Valves, Pipes & Fittings, Instruments, Analyzers, RO Pressure vessels

Skills and background:

• Bachelor’s degree or time-served experience
• Solid experience in Category/Supplier Management, Purchasing, Production Control, Engineering, Product or Project management
• Experience in procurement of items in Flow, Electrical and Instrumentation Category
• Ability to travel - estimated to be 30% annually
