Full-Time Global Item Master Data Manager

Seeking a highly skilled Item Master Data Manager to join our dynamic team in the consumer products industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
2. Oversee the creation, maintenance, and quality control of master data (products, Bills of Material, purchasing contracts).
3. Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to ensure data requirements are met.
4. Monitor and improve data quality and completeness.
5. Manage the integration of master data across systems.
6. Generate and analyze reports on data quality metrics.
7. Provide training and support to end-users.

Typical Day Includes:

• Item maintenance (work intake, completion timelines, input soliciting).
• Item data updates, SLA compliance, and internal control adherence.
• Project participation (pricing updates, new subsidiary launches, large-scale item redesign, distribution center integration).
• Championing Item Master best practices.
• Creating reports to ensure master data meets requirements.
• Responding to stakeholder inquiries.

Skills Required:

• 5+ years of Master Data Management experience.
• 3+ years as a Data Steward or involved in Data Governance.
• Experience in merchandise hierarchy development and governance.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Extreme attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and accountability.
• Passion for process improvement.
