Full-Time Grain Grader Level 3

Position Overview: This role involves grading various grain types (wheat, oil seeds, pulses). It also encompasses technical guidance and training for inspectors, communication with grain elevators, and laboratory analysis/grading according to CGC guidelines. Job Functions:

1. Grain Inspector Level 1 Responsibilities: Login, organizing, storing, distributing, and disposing of incoming samples and after final inspections; Clean grain samples; Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment (moisture meters, scales, etc.); Assist in various analyses (moisture, protein, dockage, etc.); Maintain laboratory supplies; Clean work areas; Follow all regulations (Canada Grain Act, CFIA protocol, etc.); Issue grading reports.
2. Grain Grader Level 2 Responsibilities: Inspect/grade grain; Conduct off-site grading/sampling; Solve problems; Provide guidance to junior staff; Review analytical data; Report findings to grain elevator; Conduct grain inventory audits.

• Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions.
• Proficiency in computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Valid driver's license.

Experience: Over 2 years experience as a Grain Grader Level 2; Previous grain inspection/grading experience is a plus.

Education: High School diploma minimum.
