Head of Van & Truck US
After scaling our US Car Rental business, we're expanding into commercial van and truck rentals. SIXT seeks a leader to launch and grow the US commercial vehicle rental business, focused on B2B customers and long-term rentals/leasing (3-36 months).
This role requires hands-on leadership, deep experience in commercial vehicles, mobility solutions, fleet management, and B2B sales. You'll own P&L responsibility, develop and execute go-to-market strategies, source partnerships with dealers and OEMs, build operational infrastructure, and establish partnerships for rapid market penetration.
Responsibilities include:
- Partnering with global project team and building the US organization
- Recruiting, onboarding, and managing operations, sales, fleet, and customer service leaders
- Implementing Sixt Leadership Principles
- Providing expertise on go-to-market strategy and executing it
- Penetrating high-potential customer segments and refining expansion strategy
- Identifying business partners and integrating them into the strategy
- Building, leading high-performance sales teams targeting B2B accounts
- Developing strategic partnerships along the value chain
- Driving corporate account acquisition
- Overseeing commercial vehicle fleet procurement, deployment, and utilization
- Implementing rental pricing models and policies for maximum profitability
- Managing P&L, optimizing revenue streams and operational efficiencies
- Setting and tracking KPIs (fleet utilization, revenue per unit, customer acquisition costs, retention rates, fleet costs, operational costs, margins)
Skills and Experience:
- 7+ years of leadership experience in mobility, commercial vehicles, fleet management, or related fields
- Proven track record in launching or scaling businesses
- Strong B2B sales and business development skills
- Experience driving corporate client acquisitions
- P&L management expertise (budgeting, cost control, financial performance)
- Knowledge of US transportation regulations, fleet lifecycle management, and rental industry compliance
