Do you thrive in a fast-paced working environment? Are you excited about providing Human Resources (HR) support to management and employees on a broad range of systems and people-related topics? Are you motivated by creating sustainable change that benefits society and nature?
If this sounds interesting to you, or you’re curious to learn more, then this role could be the perfect opportunity.
Join our Human Resources (HR) department as our new People Advisor (HR Specialist) and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.
Your new role
As our People Advisor, you will join our People Advisory organization within North America and report to the Regional Head of People Advisory. Your main tasks will be US-focused. However, you will have opportunities to collaborate with People Advisory across the world on global projects and processes, driving our people agenda forward.
As an experienced member of the team, you can take independent responsibility for tasks within your own scope of responsibility.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and enhancing HR processes.
- Ensure global processes are compliant with local multi-state legislative requirements.
- Work closely with global HR teams to maintain cohesive operations.
- Deepen your knowledge and keep abreast of US local, state, and federal regulations, including developing rules and regulations, particularly in California and New York.
- Provide expert guidance on Ramboll’s policies and procedures, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Interpret and advise employees and managers on established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Create and update US Employee Handbook.
- Lead or support mergers and acquisitions activities, including due diligence and integration, within the Americas geographies, maintaining compliance throughout the process.
- Serve as “super user” for HR technology systems including ServiceNow HR and Workday HRIS.
- Support day-to-day operations through handling and resolution of cases in ServiceNow in line with appropriate SLAs.
- Demonstrate understanding of Workday HRIS functions.
- Ensure data is consistently updated and accurate.
- Understand and apply Data Privacy & Protection Guidelines and relevant legislation.
- Collaborate across teams globally, championing change and continuous improvement within HR.
- Draft and share people-related communications, such as newsletters, or communications on our intranet.
- Occasional travel (less than 5%) may be required.
