Implementation Consultant delivers technical implementation support to new and existing customers. As a member of the Customer Engagement team, the Implementation Consultant will help implement academic integrity and assessment technology solutions at client institutions.
This includes coordinating calls, monitoring product adoption, providing complex technical advice, and overseeing change management for clients.
The Implementation Consultant is responsible for:
- Coordinating with Onboarding Consultants, Customer Success Managers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and seamless technical implementation, while ensuring client expectations are met.
- Utilizing project scheduling and control tools to monitor project plans and tasks. Proactively drives timelines and deliverables, and holds clients and internal teams accountable.
- Attending and leading virtual meetings and distributing communications to appropriate team members.
- Acting as an expert advisor in Turnitin products and LMS integrations.
- Assisting customers with complex problems and demonstrating solution effectiveness.
- Determining customer needs to optimize configuration and recommend best practice solutions.
- Acting as a liaison between customers and technical teams to inform users of updates and improvements.
- Partnering with sales, UX, product management, and engineering teams for a successful customer experience.
- Supporting the sales team with integration-related queries.
- Facilitating customer interactions with support, onboarding, and integrations teams.
- Assisting with post-sales tasks, including developing improved customer experience processes.
- Working closely with Account Management to prevent churn and increase customer uptake.
- Providing customer feedback and requirements to the Product team.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience in educational technology or related fields (Implementation Consultant, Customer Success Manager, etc.) or experience in education as an instructional technology specialist, instructional designer, or similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams for the benefit of the customer.
- Proven ability to manage high-level relationships within institutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Experience in the Higher Education market is preferred.
- Experience with third-party integrations is preferred.
- Experience with Turnitin products is preferred.
- Ability to travel for client visits or conferences (as needed).
