We’re looking for a Public Sector Inside Sales Representative to join Procore’s Sales team. You’ll partner with Account Executives and Solution Specialists to support the sales lifecycle for existing public sector businesses.
As an Inside Sales Representative, you'll run deals independently, staying in close communication with the Sales team. Supplement your sales and networking skills with technical knowledge of cloud-based software and Procore platform expertise.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner to generate a healthy "Run Rate" business within your strategic segment. "Run Rate" comprises product line upsell and contract expansion into current clients.
- Build relationships with construction management C-Suite, leaders, and critical decision-makers by visiting clients.
- Work closely with Solution Specialists and Account Executives to support post-sale revenue efforts.
- Participate in presentations, coordinate RFPs, and position Procore as the leading construction software solution.
- Set up Account Executives for success by building awareness and interest within the client's organization.
- Work with the Public Sector Sales team to expand existing business by addressing client technical challenges.
- Complete immersion and mastery of Procore's product offerings, business model, services, and emerging technologies while providing fellow team members with mentoring and support.
- Collaborate with all levels of the Procore organization to develop best practices, connect clients with Product Managers and Marketing to further client success.
- Travel up to 25% to client sites, industry events, Procore offices, etc.
What we’re looking for:
- 2+ years of demonstrated successful software sales, preferably B2B.
- Proven ability to develop and manage pipeline and forecasting.
- Experience using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology.
- Proven record of success in an inside sales-based selling model.
- Ability to communicate effectively via telephone and email with customers.
- Resilience to work in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Develop trusted relationships with customers and internal partners.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and online collaboration tools.
- Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, specifically Salesforce.com.
