We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager, International Contracts to lead the negotiation and management of complex international contracts. This role will work closely with business managers, sales teams, and cross-functional organizations to manage contracts throughout their lifecycle.
Location: Remote, UK/Europe
Your Challenge:
- Contract Management & Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations and administration for a variety of international contracts, ensuring alignment with company policies, legal frameworks, and customer requirements. Assess and mitigate risks in terms and conditions during the proposal and contract execution phases. Collaborate with internal and external customers to define and complete contractual obligations.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and implement mitigation strategies for contractual risks. Ensure compliance with foreign government and commercial contracting laws and regulations.
- Documentation & Communication: Maintain accurate and complete records of customer-related activities and correspondence in compliance with company policies. Prepare and deliver professional written communications with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the aerospace and defense industry.
- Strong background in negotiating complex terms and conditions across various commercial and non-commercial contract types.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to independently manage complex contract assignments.
- Outstanding verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Working knowledge of commercial contracting practices and familiarity with multiple contract formats.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and the ability to adapt to new software tools.
