We’re offering an opportunity to join IXOM’s commercial team as a Key Account Manager – Water & Energy, based in Brisbane.

In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of major accounts across the Water and Energy sectors.

You’ll be a strategic partner to our customers driving growth, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional value.

This role suits a proactive, results-driven professional who thrives on building strong relationships and navigating complex contract lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage strategic accounts and achieve revenue and gross margin targets.
  • Drive new business with a hunter mindset.
  • Build influence as a trusted advisor to key customers.
  • Track and manage KPIs.
  • Lead strategic reviews and deliver insights through regular reporting.
  • Complete tender submissions, negotiate and manage contracts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, supply chain, and customer service teams.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
  • Deliver strong, profitable growth within your segment.

Who are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in a sales role within the water industry.
  • Strong ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Commercial acumen and experience managing the full business development cycle.
  • Background in water treatment (strongly preferred).
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and thrives in fast-paced environments.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
