Position Purpose: The Key Account Manager - Semiconductor position will serve as a strategic business partner responsible for cultivating and maintaining long-term relationships with key accounts in the semiconductor industry.
Primary Duties /Responsibilities:
- Provide sales and account management for key semiconductor accounts to meet profit and revenue targets.
- Develop a detailed understanding of the semiconductor market and industry trends.
- Manage national semiconductor programs and sourcing initiatives.
- Identify strengths and weaknesses in semiconductor services and support business development.
- Build customer relationships at the corporate and site management level.
- Develop and support key semiconductor account business plans, goals and objectives.
- Coordinate negotiation of master service agreements and separate contracts for semiconductor accounts.
- Oversee reporting of key performance indicators and review meetings with key semiconductor accounts.
- Formally and routinely communicate all necessary information on respective key semiconductor accounts.
- Resolve customer issues elevated from operations and sales representatives for semiconductor accounts.
- Develop new pricing and service strategies that leverage the competitive alternative and increase profitability.
- Identify new service projects aligned with semiconductor industry evolution and support the sale of projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education / Experience / Background:
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive account management and/or sales experience.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Computer proficient, Utilize CRM systems and data analytics tools.
- Strong team player.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Time management skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to effectively present information.
- Ability to negotiate effectively.
Certifications or training from programs such as Miller Heiman Group, Acclivus, or Strategic Account Management Association (SAMA) are preferred.
