We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Legal Counsel to support the sales and business teams and support the compliance team on a fixed-term contract.
The successful candidate will ensure that KVI adheres to all internal policies, legal standards, and industry regulations; will support the group-wide compliance programs, ensuring that all business processes align with statutory and regulatory requirements.
The Legal Counsel will work closely with various departments, including sales, business development, engineering, operations, HR, IT, procurement and finance, promote a culture of integrity, and maintain the company's reputation for ethical conduct.
This is a maternity leave replacement role. Employment Type: Full-time / fixed-term contract (CDD) 1 April 2025 – 30 September 2025
Your responsibilities
- Contribute to the corporate governance of our French entities as well as the overall HZI Group
- Support our compliance team, collaborating closely with our Legal Director Corporate & Compliance with onboarding checks (Know Your Customer)
- Administer the KVI Compliance training program
- Support the investigation of ‘whistleblower’ alerts
- Prepare reports on training completion rates for our Senior Management
- Prepare quarterly reports on the Group’s litigation matters
- Provide legal support on special projects
Your experience
- Masters’ degree in Law, ideally combined with some compliance training
- 3+ years’ experience in French corporate and commercial law, corporate governance, and compliance
- Excellent written communication skills, an autonomous working style, and are able to balance risks and operational benefits
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, resilient, calm, and discreet
- Fluent in French and English, both orally and in writing
