Job Details
We are seeking a Word Processing professional to support urgent project requests. Work in a team across multiple shifts and locations. Candidates must ensure quality and high customer satisfaction.
Knowledge of legal word processing, various legal software, and Microsoft Office suite is beneficial.
Shift: Monday-Friday, 4 PM-12:30 AM (Pacific Time)
Pay Rate: $21.19/hour (at the noted location, possible other compensation depending on role)
Responsibilities:
- Create, edit, and format legal documents.
- Convert, clean, and format documents between different formats.
- Create charts, graphs, tables, and spreadsheets.
- Create and edit Tables of Authorities and Table of Contents.
- Perform data entry using various software.
- Transcribe analog or digital dictation files.
- Restore/recover corrupted documents.
- Provide telephone support for application queries.
- Meet deadlines with accuracy and timeliness.
- Handle sensitive documents and information.
- Adhere to established policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm with 95% accuracy
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years experience in legal word processing preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
- Experience in creating TOAs, TOCs, cross-references, converting PDFs to Word, applying Word styles with macros, troubleshooting documents with redlines, numbering schemes, style separators, cross-references, and automated fields is a plus.
- Transcription experience is beneficial
- Knowledge of legal terminology and citations preferred.
