Full-Time Logistics Optimization Manager

This position manages the Scheduling Team to optimize customer delivery routing, considering on-time delivery, plant capacity, and total cost. The role leverages Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) and other systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage transportation routing to balance customer on-time delivery, plant capacity, and cost.
2. Ensure timely release of routing decisions and resolution of time-critical issues.
3. Oversee project management and execution of team initiatives.
4. Develop relationships with customer service and manufacturing.
5. Drive cost and service improvement initiatives through analytics.
6. Utilize lean tools for opportunity identification and solution implementation.
7. Maintain a cohesive team environment.
8. Manage and develop employees.
9. Ensure logistics goals for service, product damage, budget, and continuous improvement are met.
10. Leverage advanced analytics to understand business changes and root causes of problems.

Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of Logistics/Transportation Management experience, including TMS systems.
• Proven use of complex analytics.
• Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Qlik Sense, Oracle Analytics, etc.)
• Demonstrated project management experience.
• Lean/Six Sigma training or certification preferred.
• ISM/APICS certification preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Up to 10% travel required.
