Manager, Americas GTM Finance is a critical finance leadership role partnering with sales leadership and team in driving impactful FP&A insights into bookings, OPEX spend, headcount, and divisional P&L to enable resource optimization and deeper accountability.
As part of the Americas GTM & WW Partner Finance team, this is a lead GTM Finance role for ServiceNow in supporting regulated markets (e.g., financial services, healthcare, etc.).
ServiceNow is seeking someone with well-honed finance GTM experience supporting regulated markets with versatility in collaborating with a growth-oriented sales leadership and cross functional teams in scaling this pivotal fast-growing segment within the Americas.
What you get to do in this role:
- Lead and own GTM Finance for segment, including financial planning, forecasting, reporting and related metrics to enable effective leadership decision making at Americas and corporate levels
- Establish GTM Finance capabilities in segment as a force multiplier in a trusting and collaborative manner with sales team, operations, deals team, revenue and finance
- Collaborate with teams globally, including counterparts in GTM finance, corporate finance, accounting and revenue to leverage best practices, create and improve systems and processes to optimize business decision making analytics and insights
- Mentor, coach and manage team members as applicable
- Drive automation to ensure better effectiveness and growth
To be successful in this role you have:
- 7+ years of experience in sales finance with increasing responsibility, or relevant experience in corporate finance focus on software, strategy/management consulting, or investment banking
- Understanding of regulated markets (e.g., financial services, healthcare)
- Strong sales leadership partnership and support capabilities
- Experience with sophisticated finance modeling and reporting in a software as a service (SaaS) business
- Experience with Revenue and cash flow accounting
- Highly analytical, fact driven, process orientated, and comfortable challenging the status quo and setting new strategic/operational direction
- Understanding of data modeling and analysis, and experience with automation and machine learning supported forecast tools a strong plus
- Deep understanding of corporate finance, financial accounting, and financial analysis
- Dynamic team player with excellent organizational and leadership skills, including strong communication and interpersonal abilities, the ability to distil complex processes into digestible insights is a must
- Advanced experience in MS Excel, SAP applications, Anaplan, BI applications required
- MBA or relevant graduate degree from top-tier institution or similar academic experience preferred
- Intellectually curious and interested in understanding beyond the “what” as to the “why” when conducting analyses
