Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth by partnering with RRD Sales to find new business opportunities, leverage partnerships, and boost market presence.
Responsibilities:
- Be the main contact for business development initiatives for the Asia packaging & label platform.
- Develop colleagues' and customers' understanding of services and solutions.
- Work with National Sales, Strategy, and Business Development to vet new opportunities.
- Follow up on Packaging & label Opportunities in Salesforce to ensure accuracy and adoption.
- Identify and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitors.
- Explore and evaluate new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with sales reps.
- Prepare proposals and presentations aligned with company strategy.
- Ensure alignment with marketing, sales, and product development.
- Collaborate with senior management to prioritize initiatives.
- Lead others to solve complex problems and find innovative sales solutions.
- Understand and address customer needs, feedback, and objections.
- Persuade customers to buy using strong judgment, discretion, and creativity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field. MBA preferred.
- 5+ years in the packaging industry, ideally folding cartons.
- Packaging Knowledge – Folding Carton, Rigid Box, Pulp Tray, Inserts, Corrugate, POP Displays, Retail & Industrial Packaging
- 3+ years of business development, contracts, licensing, or marketing experience.
- Experience with global brands and marketplaces.
- Understanding of Asia (China & SEA) packaging, labels, and supply chains.
- Understanding of Asia (China & SEA) competitive landscape.
Skills:

Salary: $98,100 - $156,000 per year.
