About the team
The Manager, Deal Operations will report directly to the Sr. Director GTM Ops & Business Process within the Finance organization working directly with both Finance and Revenue teams along with cross-functional stakeholders. This person will be the primary point of contact for the sales and success reps for support in building quotes and agreements for our customers.
Some challenges you’ll tackle
- Become the go-to SME on Deal Ops end-to-end processes.
- Partner with Manager, Business Process and Manager, Deal Ops Q2C to develop and enhance processes.
- Develop an immense understanding of Flock commercial constructs, contract structure, billing processes, and Q2C process.
- Develop process for continued and enhanced treatment of triage and escalations.
- Works closely with internal stakeholders from Revenue, RevOps, Finance, Product, and Legal.
- Become an expert in our sales process and sales tech stack.
- Support Revenue and Customer Success teams through Account and Contract Reconciliation & Data Governance within CRM (Salesforce).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete quarterly projects.
- Become an expert in Flock's products, pricing, and sales programs.
- Communicate effectively with and respond to requests from internal stakeholders and customers/partners.
- Act as liaison for escalations related to contractual risk management.
- Ensure precision in closed-won opportunity auditing.
- Support the Sales and Post-sales teams with all back-office processes.
- Partner with Manager, Business Process to maintain process documentation and training material.
About You
Experience: Combined experience of 5+ years in Deal Desk/Deal Operations or Finance/Billing Operations at a high growth technology company.
- 3+ years of experience with Salesforce CPQ
- 2+ years of experience as a people manager
Skills: SOX compliance, ASC606, and other revenue accounting practices. Advanced knowledge of Quote-to-Cash and systems end-to-end processes.
Other Skills: Experience with contracts, account reconciliations, and coterminous agreements. Ability to learn on the go, be a self-starter, high attention to detail.
