Full-Time Manager Maintenance & Reconditioning

As a full-time Manager, Repair and Maintenance at SIXT, you’ll be at the heart of our dynamic operations.

As Manager of Repair & Maintenance, you will develop and execute strategies to optimize maintenance efficiency and reduce costs for SIXT Rent a Car's rental fleet.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You develop and implement long-term maintenance and process improvement strategies to enhance fleet performance and reduce operational costs
• You lead facility upgrades and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and efficient project completion
• You implement robust controlling mechanisms to monitor maintenance performance and financial metrics, presenting results to senior management regularly
• You drive process improvements at fleet hub locations and turnback operations to streamline workflows and maximize productivity
• You collaborate closely with cross-functional departments including fleet operations, finance, and logistics to align repair and maintenance strategies with business goals
• You travel regularly to locations across the United States to provide leadership support, oversight of maintenance operations and ensure adherence to established procedures

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Experience: You have 7+ years of progressive management experience in fleet maintenance with advanced knowledge of vehicle maintenance, best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements
• Education: You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; advanced degree preferred
• Technical Proficiency: You possess strong experience in project management, strategic planning, and financial analysis with a knack for utilizing data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive operational improvements
• Soft Skills: You have strong leadership skills with the ability to influence decisions, drive change, and foster a collaborative work environment

You are flexible and willing to travel domestically and internationally, up to 25%
