YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
- You develop and implement long-term maintenance and process improvement strategies to enhance fleet performance and reduce operational costs
- You lead facility upgrades and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and efficient project completion
- You implement robust controlling mechanisms to monitor maintenance performance and financial metrics, presenting results to senior management regularly
- You drive process improvements at fleet hub locations and turnback operations to streamline workflows and maximize productivity
- You collaborate closely with cross-functional departments including fleet operations, finance, and logistics to align repair and maintenance strategies with business goals
- You travel regularly to locations across the United States to provide leadership support, oversight of maintenance operations and ensure adherence to established procedures
YOUR SKILLS MATTER
- Experience You have 7+ years of progressive management experience in fleet maintenance with advanced knowledge of vehicle maintenance, best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements
- Education You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; advanced degree preferred
- Technical Proficiency You possess strong experience in project management, strategic planning, and financial analysis with a knack for utilizing data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive operational improvements
- Soft Skills You have strong leadership skills with the ability to influence decisions, drive change, and foster a collaborative work environment
- Commitment to Excellence You have exceptional communication and coaching abilities to lead and motivate a diverse team effectively
- Travel You are flexible and willing to travel domestically and internationally, up to 25%
