Job Details
The National Account Director is responsible for developing new business prospects and managing the full cycle sales process. This is a full time, remote position requiring travel up to 30%-40%. This position will be based in the UK, covering the EMEA region.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
- Meet with potential clients to determine business needs.
- Stay current on industry trends in food & beverage manufacturing, industrial, hi-tech, automotive and CPG industry.
- Research and develop new business opportunities and expand customer relationships.
- Generate new business sales within the manufacturing sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospects and clients.
- Develop professional networks.
- Identify improvements and recommend sales strategies.
- Collect, analyze information and prepare sales reports.
- Attend training, meetings, trade shows and events.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Sales, Operations or Business Management or equivalent experience.
- 7-8 years experience in outside sales in industrial or automation manufacturing, with a track record of selling to new customers and exceeding quota targets.
- Experience in Business to Business Sales.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge of QAD Redzone’s products/services.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to negotiate and have marketing skills.
- Ability to focus on results and client needs.
- Ability to engage with C level Executives.
- Self-motivated, with excellent assessment skills and a fast learner.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and CRM.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Open to travel up to 30%-40%.
