Position Purpose: This position manages National Accounts not designated as Key Accounts. Typically, these are multi-branch accounts.
Build long-term relationships with assigned accounts to increase ESS group profitability, leveraging technology, program management, and service efficiency.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide sales and account management for national accounts to meet profit and revenue targets.
- Manage national programs and sourcing initiatives, directing renewals.
- Identify account strengths and weaknesses to support business development, operations, and technical teams.
- Build customer relationships at corporate and site management levels.
- Improve access for key accounts to branches and regions.
- Tailor support networks to customer needs.
- Foster and coordinate existing ESS relationships.
- Develop and support national account business plans.
- Coordinate master service agreement and contract negotiations.
- Oversee reporting of KPIs and review meetings.
- Communicate necessary account information to operations, technical groups, branch managers, and sales representatives.
- Resolve customer issues elevated by operations, branch managers, and sales representatives.
- Develop pricing and service strategies for increased profitability.
- Identify and support the sale of new service projects.
Education/Experience/Background:
- Undergraduate degree
- Five or more years of progressive account management or sales experience with hazardous and special waste customers
