The National Account Manager for Military and Law Enforcement is pivotal in driving sales and building strategic partnerships within the Military, Law Enforcement, and government sectors.

Responsibilities include:

  • Achieving sales targets
  • Identifying growth opportunities
  • Managing relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through tailored service and seamless contract management
  • Expertise in government procurement
  • Deep understanding of the Military/Law Enforcement market
  • Passion for delivering solutions that meet the unique needs of each client

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Achieve seasonal sales and distribution targets
  • Meet key product category objectives
  • Develop local plans following brand guidelines
  • Identify sales, distribution, and promotion opportunities
  • Build plans for growth, distribution, and category growth
  • Maintain detailed territory and account plans
  • Understand customer equipment requirements and contracting regulations
  • Attend national, regional events
  • Brief Salomon products to government agencies
  • Act as primary contact for assigned distributors
  • Conduct joint sales calls with resellers
  • Promote Salomon products to distributors
  • Manage the sales process from qualification to closure
  • Brief Sales Manager on government contract opportunities
  • Cooperate with other Territory Managers and Sales Agents
  • Develop relationships with key personnel
  • Report on base and distributor activity
  • Enter customer orders
  • Maintain CRM tools
  • Provide tools and assets to GSA contract holders
  • Prepare customized plans and presentations
  • Coordinate opportunities with Sales Manager and Production
  • Manage a discretionary budget
  • Customize sales strategy by branch, agency, and distributor
  • Visit and contact customers
  • Identify grass-roots opportunities
