As a National Builder Account Manager for Therma-Tru, Larson, and Fypon brands, you will drive growth and profit through management of all interfaces with key national builder accounts.
Ideal Candidate: Experience managing national accounts in building materials, developing business strategies, building relationships with builder accounts, and creating high-quality PowerPoint presentations.
Location: Remote position within the Eastern half of the US, ideally near a major airport.
Travel: Up to 50% travel required.
Job Responsibilities (80%):
- Direct account responsibility for National Builder locations in the Eastern US.
- Implement National Builder Account strategy and communicate with all stakeholders (builders, field sales, trade partners).
- Coordinate with other National Account Managers and field sales for successful implementation.
- Collaborate with key personnel (Vice Presidents, Regional Sales Managers, Field Sales Team, Marketing, Financial Team) to develop pricing and programs.
- Maximize growth and profitability of the National Builder Program.
- Lead contract negotiations with National Builder Accounts (with legal, marketing, and senior management support).
- Develop and implement account plans for each key customer, communicating them effectively to internal and external parties.
- Represent Therma-Tru, Fypon, Larson and Fiberon at regional and national builder associations and conferences.
- Engage in challenging conversations with customers (e.g., price improvement, program requirements).
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years managing national accounts in building products.
- Familiarity with market forces affecting businesses and builders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Experience with account management and planning.
- Knowledge of pull-thru programs, builder relationship management, and multi-step distribution.
- Proven track record of growing sales and driving results.
Nice to Have: Bachelor's degree, CRM (e.g., HubSpot) experience.
Compensation: $105,000 - $125,000 USD base salary, plus annual bonus or sales incentive plan.
