The National Brand Manager drives consistent profitable growth by achieving and exceeding sales objectives within designated accounts. Partners with high-revenue accounts to develop programs for maximum sales volume, consistent with projections.
Clearly understands client needs, providing innovative solutions exceeding expectations.
- Develops and implements local, national or strategic sales strategies for customers, channels, or large geographic areas. Coordinates business development with marketing, identifying new opportunities and portfolio expansion levers.
- Provides clear, focused leadership to reduce barriers in delivering competitive advantage via global scale.
- Delivers short and long-term results, building organizational credibility and opportunities for added value to the business.
- Translates market trends and customer needs into actionable goals, creating a competitive advantage.
- Coordinates sales service with other service departments and operating areas.
- Works with prospective customers to identify unmet needs, implement solutions, leading to successful sales.
- Formulates strategy with marketing, selecting target markets and identifying prospective customers, unmet needs, products, and processes to meet them.
- Establishes pricing programs and strategies.
- Defines value proposition to the market, customers, and industry, encompassing service, price, and product platform strategies.
- Manages 1-2 direct reports (if applicable), positively leading and influencing team members for achieving individual and business goals.
- Coordinates team efforts, creates, and manages regional strategy and team operating plan.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 5+ years practical sales experience with quota responsibility, market development, account planning, client engagement
- Self-starter, driven sales professional with strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong product knowledge of RFID and supply chain solutions is beneficial
- Experience negotiating complex transactions with upper-level management or similar experience
- Apparel industry and large retailer experience preferred
- Skilled in developing sales penetration and growth strategies
- Excellent financial skills and business acumen
- Skilled in territory analysis and planning
- Able to provide strategic recommendations independently
- Skilled in communicating effectively with all levels of management
